Our Story

Photo of Neelands Refrigeration

The high standards of customer service and quality workmanship that define Neelands Group Limited today were first established by company founder Reg Neelands over five decades ago. That was in the late 1950s, when supermarkets were making their first appearance and Reg determined that there was a growing demand for commercial refrigeration services.

Since the 1958 opening of Neelands Refrigeration Limited in Burlington ON, those same standards of reliability and accountability have been maintained. They are now upheld by company president Noel Neelands, son of Reg.

"My father built the company with top quality standards in mind right from day one," says Noel. "We attracted the most qualified employees and established a loyal customer base with our reputation for honest and fair dealing."

With this family continuity, the company outlook has not changed in nearly 60 years. Our employee's ability to build trusted advisor relationships with our customers has formed the backbone of what Neelands Group Limited is today.

"To get the right answers, you need to be surrounded by people who ask the right questions," says Noel. "You need to work with people who listen, engage and then build on ideas created as a result of those questions."

At Neelands, our people are selected for their unique technical talents, but also for their ability to Ask The Right Questions.

"When you're surrounded by people who share a passionate commitment around a common purpose, anything is possible." - Howard Schultz.
