Data Centers

Led by an experienced national data centre Project Manager, Neelands Data Center Maintenance Management Service provides an integrated solution for the maintenance of data center sites. These include everything from stand-alone data center facilities to tenant-space computer rooms, and their related support infrastructure. The goal of the service is to help organizations in the following ways:

Improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness)
Increase asset life
Use Neelands Performance Lifecycle Maintenance to fuel Reliability Centered Maintenance
Prevent equipment failures
Improve procurement decisions
Reduce equipment downtime
Minimize inventory
Lower the total cost of data center maintenance

Pre and post-asset maintenance information and data points are mapped against server output levels, providing the client with exceptional performance clarity. This information ensures that production equipment is designed, utilized and maintained cost-effectively.

Neelands continues to invest heavily in developing the most effective data room technical support services. Recent successes in CO2 cooling technology applications, plus the hiring of experienced large-scale data center project management personnel, provide assurances that we understand and are meeting your operational challenges. Our CO2 data room systems can achieve an impressive 1.02 PUEs and will operate in a patented thermosyphon-free cooling mode at efficiency levels far more impressive than other methods.

Cold Storage

Neelands works collaboratively with customers to design "inside/ out" technical solutions. That is to say that the designs of the refrigeration systems inside the facility must meet the company's production needs, in addition to achieving its Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.

Successes in CO2 cooling technology in large scale cold storage and distribution centers is an exciting development. And in much larger installations, a hybrid ammonia/ CO2 refrigeration system may be your ideal solution.

As many owners and operators deal with the risks associated with large volumes of ammonia being used in their facilities, CO2 provides the opportunity to either eliminate or significantly reduce the ammonia charge. Our CO2 systems operate in a patented thermosyphon-free cooling mode at efficiency levels far more impressive than others.

Industrial Design Build

Low levels of customer satisfaction in the delivery of specified design builds can usually be traced to problems with the bid/specification procurement process itself. Often, the various parties engaged to execute a bid/spec project have no alignment to the owners values, overall performance objectives or Corporate Social Responsibility goals.

Neelands' reputation in the industry as a trusted advisor is founded on bringing our customers' visions to reality, and doing so through a transparent, collaborative process. Decisions throughout the project development process are made with all parties involved - including owner, architect, engineer, designer, Neelands construction management and yes, our service management.

Furthermore, in a Neelands design/ build project we demand a level of support from the manufacturers. We also ensure that the management philosophy by all parties is aligned with the collaborative process.

It sounds simple.......but many companies do not have the communication skills necessary to secure a positive outcome. Give us a try - get what you asked for at a fair price, and on schedule.

Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort. - J. Ruskin.

Performance Lifecycle Maintenance

Maintenance does not always mean PERFORMANCE.
Maintenance does not necessarily mean ASSET LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT.

Can you say that your current schedule of maintenance activities is delivering measurable results? Do you (or your customer) at times feel frustrated at continuously approving expenses without a final goal being determined?

Also, do you feel you are making informed decisions about maintenance or repair expenses? What is your level of confidence when presenting maintenance results to your customers? Are your current HVAC suppliers helping you differentiate your offering into the market and helping to increase your sales?

These are all valid, viable questions for those with HVAC requirements. As a whole, the HVAC service market has not innovated. Maintenance contracts speak to providing a host of "typical" benefits, but rarely does a contractor demonstrate these benefits with measurable data. Despite that, customers continue to sign cheques without identifying long term objectives - and frustration may be the only return on investment.

Introducing PERFORMANCE LIFECYCLE MAINTENANCE

This covers knowledge-based maintenance activities that deliver MEASURABLE operational and financial results to our customers. Our Performance Lifecycle Maintenance Program provides clarity to clients, so they can make informed decisions about their assets. Yes, clients can look forward to informed, documented performance information from Neelands.
